Paver Patios in Tigard

Tigard's wet winters and dry summers create freeze-thaw cycles that crack pavers and concrete, while housing stock spans 1960s ranches to 2020s new construction, requiring patio solutions for both older narrow lots and newer hillside properties with territorial views.

Paver Patios

Patio & Deck Experts for Tigard's Mixed Housing Stock

Tigard experiences 211 days per year below 50°F and 44.6 inches of annual precipitation. Pavers and concrete must handle winter moisture and freeze-thaw stress. We install proper drainage and base preparation to prevent settling and cracking in wet seasons.

Downtown Tigard features older housing stock undergoing reinvestment, while Bull Mountain and western hillsides offer newer construction on larger lots. We design patios and decks that fit tight downtown yards and maximize views on hillside properties.

Single-family detached homes account for 57.77% of Tigard's housing units. Whether you're adding a paver patio to a 1970s ranch or a composite deck to a modern hillside home, we match materials and design to your property's era and setting.

The Linda Casa team is amazing! In just a few days, the crew managed to level our super slanted front yard (and our ground was tough with clay), put in a retaining wall, extend our driveway with some beautiful stonework, plant our new tree and bush, and add compacted gravel. On the first or second day it absolutely poured rain down on them too and they were out there all day. We've already recommended them to our neighbors if they've got any upcoming projects and we 100% plan on using Linda Casa again when we're ready to tackle some other projects!

I am beyond impressed with the work done by Linda Casa Landscaping. As you can see from the before and after photos, the transformation is night and day. They took an overgrown, cluttered front yard and turned it into a clean, modern masterpiece. The installation of the dry creek bed, the perfectly placed boulders, and the fresh mulch completely changed the curb appeal of my home. I’m especially happy with the lighting—it’s subtle but makes the house look incredible at night. The team was professional, efficient, and clearly has an eye for design. If you’re looking for a crew that can take a messy site and turn it into something premium, I highly recommend Linda Casa Landscaping!

Jose and his crew did a great job at replacing the sod in our backyard. On a previous project they removed an old raised garden and installed a new one, along with updating the drip lines. Jose was perfectly clear on the scope of the projects and there were no misunderstandings. Prices were reasonable. They took great care in their work. Jose takes extra effort in making sure the work is well done. I would happily have Jose do any future projects that may arise.

Its great to find someone who is patient with the customer throughout the process when changing their home landscape. I wanted to do a zeroscape lawn, moving away from the time filled task of taking care of a grass lawn. I didnt know what to expect or the total concept. I did get other bids and they varied wildly. Linda Casa Landscaping is exactly how the other reviews stated. Kind and thoughtful. Putting time and energy toward helping me understand the process and helping make the outcome a reality. This may have been a smaller job than some of the big stuff I saw on his web site. But he didnt treat me any differently. The time to finish the job was spot on. He showed up to help transfer the plants to the site. He and his crew worked from 7:30am to 4pm. He has his own connections for materials becuase he has built a good business over the 15 years in business. The finished product was better than I envisioned. I asked the owner to put a sign in my yard to let those who drive by know who did this beautiful "Zeroscape yard using drought tolerant plants project. It looks great right now and will great through all the seasons ahead.

I could not be happier with Jose and his crew. I talked with several driveway companies about a gravel driveway project I've wanted to do for a couple years now, but other companies would flake out, not follow up, or were simply too expensive. Jose's customer service could not have been better or more prompt. He worked with me on design and he and his team executed exactly as planned. I also immediately hired him to do some basic landscaping/maintenance on the property which turned out great. They even helped me dispose of a large wood pile for free (only charging the city dump fee). Couldn't be happier to finally find a quality landscaping/driveway company here in Mac with customer service hard to find these days. Look forward to working with them again soon.

Paver Patios FAQ for Tigard

Common questions from Tigard customers about our services, process, and coverage.

Tigard's wet winters and dry summers cause freeze-thaw cycles that expand and contract soil and pavers. Poor drainage accelerates damage. We install permeable base layers and grading to shed water away from your patio, preventing ice buildup and settling.

Pavers and concrete both work in Tigard, but require proper installation. Pavers allow drainage between joints; concrete needs slope and control joints to manage water. We recommend sealed concrete or high-quality pavers with a stable base for long-term durability in wet conditions.

Bull Mountain and western hillsides feature upscale homes with territorial views. Yes—we design decks with proper footings on slopes, multi-level layouts to follow terrain, and railings that frame views without blocking them. Hillside decks need extra engineering for stability and drainage.

Site prep is critical in Tigard's clay-heavy soil. We remove sod, grade for drainage, compact the base, and install gravel or sand layers before pavers or concrete. Proper prep prevents settling and water pooling—especially important given our 44+ inches of annual rain.
